Out of stock ?
This is an on-line shop. We try our best to keep the shop's stock as accurate as possible but it is possible from time to time that an item you ordered is out of stock. This would happen if several people bought the same item several times before we had time to adjust our stock.
We will let you know immediately if this was the case.
You can then choose to wait for delivery or ask for a refund.
Back orders, coming from outside the UK, can take sometime to arrive to us.
We will, when possible, give you an e.t.a .
If you are paying by cheque, you must allow time for us to receive and clear your payment.
Your order will be dispatched as soon as your payment is cleared (Stock permitting) .
Vintage Condition:
All cards and other vintage paper items are in various condition ranging from new to used.
Some items have been exposed to weather from being displayed on markets stands.
Most items have a high collectable value. Most cards are lightly pencil marked on the back and some are very old.
If in doubt, contact us and check for stock and item condition.
VAT:
We are not VAT Registered, so we do not charge VAT on any of our products.
Handling Charge:
There is no handling charge included.
Shipping:
All orders are shipped the same day when possible. All items marked as "Free shipping in the UK" are sent Free of shipping charges in the UK. Other items are sent by Royal Mail and charges are by weight and size. Orders abroad over 1.8 Kilo will be split. Orders UK bound over 2 kilos will be sent via Parcel Force.
Paying by card ?
All card payment are processed for Showdogs UK by PayPal
Please go to Paypal to read their rules and regulations.
We will clear your payment before we dispatch the goods. (Much faster than by cheque, goods can be dispatched the same day)
Paying by Cheque or Postal order ?
Cheques must be from a UK bank or UK building society and labelled to: SHOWDOGS UK.
We will clear your payment before we dispatch the goods. In most cases, payments are cleared within 3 to 4 working days.
Your bank statement will show as "Paypal Showdogs".
Please make postal orders payable to SHOWDOGS UK.
Post abroad (Compensation for lost post)
Lost post abroad...all post is sent with proof of posting, if you choose the ordinary airmail option (not International Sign For) , I can only supply you with what you need to make the claim at your end with your own countries post office...not a refund.
Returns Policy & Procedures
For Collars please make sure that you measure your dog before purchase, these collars are made to fit each breed, but sizes of dogs may vary.

If for any reason you are unhappy with an item you have purchased from Showdogs UK, you may return it for a full refund or exchange.
Before making a return, please call us at +44 (0) 1626 862472 or e-mail us at dogthings@showdogsuk.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) .
Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number.
All returns must be made within 7 days of receipt of purchase.
All returns must be sent freight prepaid.
Any item shipped C.O.D. will not be accepted.
In the event of a returned item, unless we made the error to cause the return, postage will not be refunded.
